Sublette County Public Health is warning residents of their county that there is a phone scam in connection with the COVID vaccine under way there.
Specifically, they point out that Public Health will only call to schedule a shot for persons who are already registered. At that time, they will assign a date and time and confirm that appointment by email along with the appropriate paperwork.
They will not ask for money or any other personal information when making that scheduling call. If a caller asks for those things, hang up and do not comply.
