Grand Teton National Park rangers responded to two calls for assistance on Sunday. About 5:15 pm, Park Spokesperson Denise Germann says the park received a report of individual feeling sick near the Death Canyon Cabin and unable to hike out. Germann says rangers responded and short hauled individual out who was then transported to St. John’s Heath. Then about 7:00 pm, the park received the report of individuals who had popped raft on the Snake River and were stranded in middle of the river. Germann says the individuals were rescued and transported safely to Moose Landing.
