Teton Science Schools have announced they will be going beyond the required closures for in-person classes and programming. In a news release earlier this week, the schools announced they are suspending all overnight, residential programming until August 15th along with all in-person programming through April 10th. Both decisions were made in response to impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. To ensure continuity of its 50 years of education, TSS will temporarily be focusing on local and virtual/remote learning. Teton Science School will be communicating with school partners in the days ahead to coordinate scheduling. Based on the impacts of COVID-19, the organization will determine when to resume in-person day programming for Mountain Academy, summer camps, and wildlife tours.
